Thermostat Settings

If your house has been warmer than usual, the first thing to check is the thermostat. Sometimes, the issue is simply that it’s not set correctly.

Heat pumps are susceptible to similar problems as condenser units. This means you may also find your AC turning on but not cooling.

If you suspect the issue may be with your heat pump, you can check that it is not clogged. If it appears damaged, you may need professional repairs.

Refrigerant Leak

Refrigerant is a key liquid that you need to keep your AC cooling your home. However, sometimes, it can leak. This can cause the system to not blow cold air or lead to the AC constantly running but not cooling.
