Key Responsibilities:

· Install/repair HVAC related equipment and accessories in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications.

· Complete approved maintenance for HVAC/R equipment within industry standard hours per maintenance pricing guide.

· Identify potential problems during maintenance that might affect current or future system performance.

· Provides customers with information on new equipment when existing equipment exceeds 10 years of age or is in generally poor condition.

· Present findings and options to customers, providing advice as needed/requested.

· Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements.

· Maintain a thorough knowledge of Blue Cardinal’s products and services.

· Pick up parts from supply houses/offices and deliver to technicians in the field as needed.

· Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements.

· Perform/assist with maintenance and service/repair work as needed.

· Maintain a clean equipment/work area.

· Verify correct operation of all maintained customer equipment, demonstrating and providing training for customers, as requested.

· Ensure the vehicle is stocked, accurately inventoried, kept clean and in safe working order.

· Return defective warranty parts and unused inventory to the branch.

HVAC Installation Lead – Join Our Expert Team!

Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking to lead a skilled team in high-quality installations? We’re seeking a HVAC Installation Lead to oversee the installation of new systems and replacement parts, ensuring every job meets our company’s standards and safety protocols.

The HVAC Installation Lead is responsible for overseeing the installation of new units and replacement parts. They ensure work is completed according to our company’s specifications and established safety guidelines. The lead installer of the install team is responsible for instructing team members and executing a professional install job. Our technicians will work with a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Key Responsibilities:

· Install HVAC related equipment and accessories in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications. Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring for both high and low voltage wiring applications as well as run flue liners.

· Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.

· Design, fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings as necessary.

· Maintain a thorough knowledge of McWilliams' products and services.

· Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.

· Perform start-ups on heating, cooling systems and other components.

· Perform limited diagnostics, as necessary.

· Train, coach and mentor Install Helpers to • Braze copper joints without leaks. • Pull vacuums on refrigerant systems and test for tightness. • Install and program all versions of thermostats. • Install, wire and plumb all IAQ products. Set an air conditioner, heat pump, furnace or air handler.
